Crafted in Bassano del Grappa, a historic Northern Italian town renowned for its longstanding ceramic tradition, the Il Gattopardo Ceramic Leopards are finished with richly glazed and hand painted detailing that highlights the sculptural beauty of the forms and the artistry of traditional Bassano ceramics.

Italian ceramic animal sculptures became iconic decorative objects throughout the twentieth century, appearing in grand palazzos, villas, and richly layered interiors from the 1940s onward. This particular style feels especially evocative of the bold glamour and theatricality of 1970s and 1980s Italian interiors, balancing old world European grandeur with the cinematic drama of Palm Beach and Miami design.
