In the Lauscha Valley of Germany, glassmakers produce charming penguin in scarfs cocktail picks. Old traditions say that a Lauscha glassblower, due to a shortage of apples and nuts, began to blow animal and fruit figurines out of glass for Christmas presents for his children. Use the cocktail picks for garnishes or as drink charms.
